fig up!!! HOW TO DRESS FOR AN INTERVIEW#menstyle#womenstyle#

Although I've never gone for a job interview before, still a 'fresh graduate' tho *wink*. To my best knowledge I know the 'PHYSICAL APPEARANCE' in terms of dressing, hair style and shoes is the first thing that is being noticed by the employer(s) or judges. First impression matters alot. The job candidate who arrives in a small outfit will always make a great impression. For Women, Classic suits(neutral colours), Blazer over a skirt or a pant trouser, T-shirt(wear colours that are not loud) over an high -waist skirt or trouser, classic gowns(formal), are clever options when deciding on your interview attire. These attires look professional and smart. The hem of your skirt should fall just on your knees. A shorter skirt often results in having to tug it down during interview! Classic neutral colours of pumps or flats are appropriate for any job interview. Look for a heel that is over an inch high, but not too difficult to walk with, to complete your professional look. What to do with your hair? The most important thing is that your hair should look neat and tidy. If you have long hair you can brush it behind your eyes. Or put it up neatly in a style of your choice. The important thing is that your hair should not fall over your face in any way of require you to keep brushing it off your face during the interview. This will only irritate the interviewer..

For Men, The safe standard interview
dress for men is the classic dark business suit. Other acceptable alternatives include gray, dark brown or dark blue business suit. The suit should not be overpowering. Coloured shirts  can make you appear more friendly. Striped shirts are also an option with classic pencil trousers. Always wear a tie to a job interview. Your tie should coordinate with the colors you are wearing and be relatively conservative. The primary colour of a patterned tie should complement your suit and the secondary colour should pick up the colour of your shirt. Wear a tie that is darker than the colour of your shirt and avoid a tie that is too bright. You can also wear a conservative sports coat or blazer and  a pair of well tailored and pressed slacks. Always wear a belt and well polished smart shoes.

Your interview dress will have a major impact on how you are perceived by the interviewer. What you wear will be a reflection of your professionalism, commitment and your ability to fit in with the corporate culture.

Some job candidates prefer to wear native attire for an interview, it depends on the type of job tho. But being smart, classic and formal is best look for an interview and also gives the judges a good impression about you!

THANKS FOR PASSING BY! X!
